Thanksgiving is coming up soon, and I don’t know about you, but I’m busy looking for new projects to try out. Two of my favorite things are crocheting and cooking, so I’ve gathered a few ideas from Pinterest to share with you today!
Pictured above (clockwise from left): Cherry Pie Hot Pad, Crochet Pumpkin, Thanksgiving Wreath, Turkey Coasters.
Cherry Pie Hot Pad: How adorable is this hot pad? A perfect combination of decoration and practicality to adorn the Thanksgiving dessert table.
Crochet Pumpkin: If you’re anything like me, you’re gung ho about decorating, but less than enthusiastic about taking decorations down. That can be a problem when it comes to decorative pumpkins and gourds, which will rot if not dealt with in a timely fashion. That’s why I love the idea of a crocheted pumpkin. It can be used year after year, and if you forget to put it away, you don’t have to worry about cleaning up a slimy, smelly mess!
Thanksgiving Wreath: At times, I find decorative wreaths to be gaudy or tacky. This one, however, is clean, cute, and classy.
Turkey Coasters: Just looking at these delightful turkey coasters has me craving a steaming cup of hot apple cider!
Pictured above (clockwise from left): Pumpkin Cheesecake Muffins, Dinner Rolls, Caramel Apple Sangria, Butternut Squash and Spinach Lasagne.
Pumpkin Cheesecake Muffins: I love pumpkin. And I love cheesecake. I’m not sure any more needs to be said!
Dinner Rolls: Rolls are a Thanksgiving dinner staple, and how gorgeous are these? This recipe is sure to impress any Thanksgiving guest.
Caramel Apple Sangria: You’ve been working all day to prepare for Thanksgiving dinner. The house is clean and decorated, the food is ready, and now it’s time for you to relax before your guests arrive. This caramel apple sangria combines two signature fall flavors with white wine for a delicious, festive drink.
Butternut Squash and Spinach Lasagne: Lasagne is one of my all time favorite meals. I can’t wait to try this fall twist on the classic dish!
